Problem

  • The client needed a dashboard to effectively evaluate the performance of their developers, but lacked a streamlined way to gather, process, and visualize the necessary data.

Inspection

  • We developed methods to automatically download data from the relevant sources and store it locally. The performance reports were then compiled according to the client's specific requirements and displayed on a Metabase (MB) dashboard, providing a clear and organized view of developer activities and performance metrics.

Recommendation

  • Regularly tracking performance statistics, such as the time taken to approve merge requests or the volume of completed tasks, can provide valuable insights into the team's efficiency and highlight potential bottlenecks.
