The organization needed to establish a new, scalable, and secure infrastructure from scratch to support both development and production environments. The lack of a clear separation between these environments led to challenges in managing and scaling resources effectively, increased risks of impacting production with development changes, and difficulties in maintaining consistent and secure infrastructure setups.

The goal was to design and provision a robust infrastructure from the ground up in AWS, creating distinct Sandbox and Production environments. This would provide a well-structured and isolated environment for development and testing, while ensuring a reliable, secure, and scalable production setup. The implementation aimed to streamline development processes, enhance security, and support efficient management of resources.

The task resulted in the complete design and provisioning of new infrastructure environments in AWS. This included the creation of separate VPCs, subnets, security groups, and IAM roles for both Sandbox and Production environments. Infrastructure was set up from zero, incorporating best practices for network architecture, security, and scalability. Automated provisioning scripts were developed to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
