What You’ll Be Doing:
- WordPress Theme Customization: Develop and customize WordPress themes to create responsive, visually engaging websites.
- Website Layout and Development: Work on website layout development using HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript (ES6+). Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- WooCommerce Integration: Customize and enhance WooCommerce functionalities to deliver optimized e-commerce solutions.
- Website Support & Updates: Collaborate with the team to maintain, update, and enhance existing websites, ensuring smooth performance and functionality.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers and marketing specialists to align technical development with the project’s vision.
- Ongoing Website Optimization: Improve website performance, optimize load speeds, and ensure efficient caching with CDN integration.
Requirements:
- Deep WordPress Knowledge: Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, including hooks (actions, filters), and the ability to create custom themes, post types, and taxonomies.
- WooCommerce Experience: Proven track record of working with WooCommerce and implementing custom e-commerce features.
- Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro): Experience using ACF Pro to enhance WordPress sites.
- Frontend Skills: Excellent command of HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript (ES6+), along with experience with frameworks like jQuery.
- PHP Proficiency: Solid knowledge of PHP, including object-oriented programming, debugging, and optimizing code.
- Database Management: Experience with MySQL, including writing and optimizing queries, and understanding WordPress database structures.
- API Integration: Familiarity with REST APIs for third-party service integration.
- Performance Optimization: Experience with website speed optimization, including image size reduction, caching strategies, and CDN implementation.
